Welcome to the Indiana chapter of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and to the active and talented group of Hoosier authors and artists.
Many new and exciting events are brewing for our 2009 calendar. We hope to see you at our Summer Schmoozes on July 18th and 25th, our event with bookpackager editor Sara Grant on September 19, and our Picture Book Conference on November 7th. Number one on our agenda is to get all Indiana SCBWI members on our Yahoo e-mail group. If you are an Indiana SCBWI member, and wish to be added, please join us at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/IN-SCBWI/ Becoming a member of the e-mail list is the best way to stay current on SCBWI events and other relevant information, as well as reduce mailing costs for the chapter.
